James joined Carter & Spencer in July 2008 as an Assistant Business Manager within the Trading division, predominately focusing on the domestic Vegetable categories.

James’ work history shows in excess of 22 years experience in a variety of diverse and challenging roles. His experience includes retail sales management, importing, warehouse assembling and operations, distribution and wholesaling, production management, and sales and territory management. James is also a Member of the Professional Golfers Association of Australia and spent six years providing golf tuition on a full-time basis.

In addition, James has owned and operated a successful commercial business focused on national wholesale distribution, acquiring practical experience in many areas of business operations which can be applied to the fresh produce industry.
