Wayne joined the family business in 1979 working as a salesperson with Carter & Spencer’s Markets team.  Over the years Wayne has grow with the business and has served on many industry panels and boards.

Today, Wayne is General Manager of Carter & Spencer’s North Queensland Distribution Centre servicing 24 Coles stores across Northern Queensland. 

During his 20 years managing the North Queensland DC Wayne has been instrumental in introducing, on site banana ripening and supply programs, growing programs direct from local growers exclusive to Coles.  His experience in the North Queensland area has enabled the DC to provide supply solutions during natural disasters like cyclones and floods.
